Nursing Instructor (Tenure Track, Full-Time) |
RESPONSIBILITIES: |
Illinois Valley Community College, located in North Central Illinois, has a long history of stability that has brought the people and systems needed to service students exceptionally well, especially through the nursing program. The College seeks a nursing instructor whose primary responsibilities will include teaching and assessing student-learning outcomes in nursing, allied health and health- related courses; developing and promoting nursing curriculum designed both as transfer courses to four-year colleges/universities, and applied degree programs; and facilitating student learning outside of the classroom through participation in student activities, college, and community events. |
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: |
Master’s degree in nursing, current State of Illinois nursing license and minimum of two years clinical nursing practice required. |
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: |
Previous teaching and/or training experience preferred. |
